Over the last few months, we’ve gotten quite a few recipe suggestions for Tru Fru, and have received foodie inspiration from those who have created their own take on our tasty treat. So we’ve decided to invite a few guest bloggers to share their recipes and favorite ways to indulge in Tru Fru Frozen Fresh & Indulge on the Go!

Our first guest blogger is Kassidy of @cafekass on Instagram. Kass (as her friends call her!) has been following our journey for a while now. Her interests focus on living a healthy lifestyle and how best to incorporate healthy foods into her diet. Enter Tru Fru – and a bond was born!

Kass here! I am a health foodie who is a SUCKER for DELICIOUS, light and healthy snacks.

  

If you haven’t already jumped on the Tru Fru train, then let me tell ya… these frozen treats MELT in your mouth. As you take a bite, your teeth break through the gloriously cold, rich chocolate, they dive deeper into a sea of sweet and tangy raspberry that disintegrates like cotton candy. Not even joking here.

Haha in case you can’t tell…I’m kind of OBSESSED!

When I first tried Tru Fru’s Frozen Fresh chocolate covered raspberries, not only did my taste buds rejoice, but my mind exploded with possibilities! I got so excited to throw them in/on/under/throughout any and all recipes in my trick of (healthy) trades!

Not only are they my favorite Acaí bowl toppings, but they make the BEST Chocolate Chunk Raspberry “Milkshake”!! I’ve had it 3 days in a row, (and counting) and I’m so excited to share the recipe!

Drumroll, please…



The Tru Fru Chocolate Chunk Raspberry Milkshake

Ingredients:
8 pieces of Tru Fru hyper-chilled frozen chocolate covered raspberries
1 cup frozen raspberries (frozen strawberries work just fine as well)
1/2 frozen ripe banana
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
2 squirts of liquid stevia, or 2 T sweetener of choice (i.e. maple syrup, honey, etc)

Directions:
Blend for 30-60 seconds for your desired consistency.
Top with Tru Fru Frozen Fresh raspberries immersed in chocolate!

  

That’s it! Refreshing, decadent, clean, oh so simple, and absolutely DELICIOUS! Enjoy!!
